HARLEM — Signs of rats, flies and improperly chilled food prompted city restaurant inspectors to shut down Taste of Seafood Friday, according to the Department of Health.

The restaurant on 59 East 125th St. failed its inspection Friday and remained closed Tuesday afternoon, records show.

The restaurant's managers could not be reached for comment.

During the restaurant’s previous inspection on January 2015, health inspectors discovered “live animals other than fish in tank or service animal present in facility's food and/or non-food areas.”

Inspectors also found evidence of rats and flies during their January visit, records show.
