Man Beat Up on G Train After Telling Passengers Not to Curse, Police Say

GOWANUS — Police are looking for four young men who beat up a 45-year-old man on the G train after he told them to stop cursing.

The NYPD released photos Thursday of the four suspects, who they say attacked the man on June 6 at 12:25 a.m. on a southbound G train. The suspects were "acting disorderly" and cursing when the victim asked them to stop swearing, police said.

As the man was leaving the train at the Smith-Ninth Street station, the four young men punched him in the head, leaving him with bumps and bruises. The four suspects then ran away, police said.
