SOUTH STREET SEAPORT — Enjoy some gratis international films — and flavors — this July at the South Street Seaport.

The Seaport Film and Food Festival will feature a free, outdoor movie every Friday evening for the rest of the month at Fulton and Water streets. Before the film, starting at 7 p.m, small bites from the movie's home country will be up for grabs and also gratis.

First up in the series, on July 10, is a film from Taiwan called "Touch of the Light," a movie based on true events about the life of a blind Taiwanese piano prodigy who leaves his home by himself to pursue his studies in busy Taipei City.

Snacks will be provided by A-Pou's Taste, known for its Taiwanese dumplings, and CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice, a popular bubble tea brand.

Movies start at sundown.

Other flicks coming up in the festival are Irish movie "Waking Ned Devine" on July 17, Japanese film "Capturing Dad" on July 24 and Saudi Arabia's "Wadjda" on July 31.

For more information, head to the festival's website.
