LOWER EAST SIDE — Two young men stole a 15-year-old’s iPhone 6 after tricking him into handing it over, police said.

The teenager was standing in front of the Samuel Gompers Houses at 100 Pitt St. at 7 p.m. on July 1 when another teen, who was between 13 and 15 years old, asked him if he could borrow his $600 gold phone to make a call, according to the NYPD.

Police said the victim agreed and gave the other teenager his phone. About a minute later, a man, who was between 18 and 20 years old, punched him in the left jaw and fled westbound on Rivington Street with the teen who borrowed the phone, according to the NYPD.

Police said the younger thief was about 5-foot-4 with brown eyes with short and curly brown hair and weighed about 130 pounds. His older accomplice was 6-foot-3 and about 240 pounds, with long brown hair worn in a ponytail and brown eyes, police said.
