CONCOURSE — The Bronx Museum of the Arts has selected the top three choices for what it wants to name its new cafe and now wants the public to pick the final winner.

A special committee within the museum chose Café 1040, The Spot and XM Cafe, which contains the 'XM' graphic in the museum's logo, as the finalists out of the 310 submissions they received over the past few weeks.

Members of the public can now vote for their favorite out of the three by using the museum's online poll. The winner will be announced on July 15 at the museum's open house.

The cafe is expected to open on Aug. 2 and will serve wine, coffee, pastries, salads and sandwiches. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. It will be closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The winner of the naming contest will get a free lunch for six people, and the runner-up will get two tickets for a paid event at the museum.
