CASTLETON CORNERS — The Police Athletic League will host a carnival day for 800 children from across the city on Friday in Clove Lakes Park, the group said.
The PAL Summer Day Camp commences at 11 a.m. and will feature games and activities for students from kindergarten to eighth grade.
The event will also offer Nok Hockey, board games, carnival booths, team-building games and wildlife shows from New York Wild.
The carnival is part of the Police Athletic League’s Summer Day Camp, which serves more than 2,000 elementary school students at 22 PAL Centers across the city. The program offers activities to families who are unable to afford private summer camp, officials said.
