EAST HARLEM — A man was slashed across the face with a kitchen knife for apparently looking at someone the wrong way, police say.

The attack happened in front of a deli near 125th Street and Lexington Avenue about 5:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.

The suspect yelled at the victim, "What are you looking at? You got a problem?" before cutting the 24-year-old victim on the face, according to the NYPD.

The victim walked himself 25 blocks south to Metropolitan Hospital Center where he received multiple stitches, police said.
