THE BRONX — A man died Saturday when he jumped out of a moving bus on the Cross Bronx Expressway in Mount Hope and struck his head on the road, police said.
The 42-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, was on the charter bus heading south on the expressway about 6:30 p.m. when he leaped out at Jerome Avenue, NYPD officials said.
He was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital, police said.
It wasn't immediately clear why the man jumped from the bus.
