THE BRONX — Subway service on the B and D lines were temporarily disrupted during the Monday evening commute after a man was found under a southbound D train at the Yankee Stadium stop at about 6:20 p.m., an MTA spokeswoman said.

Service on the B line was suspended between Brighton Beach and Bedford Park Boulevard in both directions.

There was no D train service between 125th Street and Norwood-205th Street in both directions.

Northbound D trains were on the C line from 125th Street to 168th Street.

There were also delays on the A and C lines.

Riders were advised to take the 1 or 4 lines for alternate service or the Bx19 bus.

It was not immediately clear how the man got onto the tracks, though he was not struck and did not suffer any injuries from the train, the MTA spokeswoman said.

He was removed to an area hospital in stable condition.

Service was expected to resume with residual delays by 8:30 p.m. and riders can check back on the MTA webiste for updates
