BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police arrested a 24-year-old Brooklyn man in connection with the fatal shooting of a livery driver in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Tyrell Gardenhire is charged with murder, attempted robbery and criminal possession of a weapon for the June 29 shooting of 35-year-old Naji Fawaz, officials said Friday.

Fawaz, a father from Yemen, was shot in the neck and torso while sitting in his livery cab on Decatur Street. Investigators believe the driver had been robbed and attacked by passengers he picked up.

Police are still searching for a second suspect, Unique Gray, who is a known gang member with 15 prior arrests, officials said.

In addition to charges linked to the deadly shooting, Gardenhire faces domestic violence charges for a May 17 incident in which he allegedly choked his girlfriend, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

He is due back in court on July 6 for both cases.
