QUEENS — A man was gunned down Sunday evening in Rochdale Village, not far from his home, police said.
Robert Dejesus, 32, was shot multiple times in the head and upper torso on 166th Place shortly before 10 p.m., officials said.
Dejesus, who lived about a dozen blocks away from where the shooting happened, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead about half an hour later, police said.
The motive for the crime was not immediately clear and the investigation is ongoing, according to the NYPD.
No arrests had been made as of Monday morning, authorities said.
