NEW YORK CITY— Service changes due to upgrading and maintenance work hit 14 subway lines this weekend.
Here's a breakdown of the service changes:
2 trains won’t run in either direction between East 180th Street and 3rd Avenue-149th Street from 3:30 a.m. Saturday, to 10 p.m. Sunday. You can use the free shuttle buses provided instead.
Trains are suspended in both directions between Crown Heights-Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Free shuttle buses operate all weekend making all station stops between Crown Heights-Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue.
3 trains will skip Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue in both directions 24/7 through September.
The city is providing free shuttle buses to/from the Saratoga Avenue station at all times. B60 customers can transfer to/from shuttle buses at Rockaway Avenue. For service to/from Van Siclen Avenue, use shuttle buses to/from the Pennsylvania Avenue station at all times.

4 service operates between Woodlawn and Crown Heights-Utica Avenue. Free shuttle buses operate all weekend making all station stops between Crown Heights-Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue.
4 trains skip Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue in both directions, and Brooklyn-bound 4 trains skip 103rd Street at all times until late September 2015.
Service is suspended in both directions between East 180 Street and Bowling Green, from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
You can take the 2 or 4 train or free shuttle buses instead.
The express shuttle buses will run between East 180th Street and 3rd Avenue-149th Street and stop at the Hunts Point Avenue 6 station. The local shuttle buses will make all stops between East 180th Street and 3rd Avenue-149th Street.
The 5 shuttle service operates between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and East 180th Street.
Between 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Pelham Bay Park-bound 6 trains run express from Parkchester to Pelham Bay Park.
At all times until September 2015, Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall bound 6 trains skip 103rd Street.
A trains run express in both directions between 145th Street and Canal Street from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:30 p.m. Sunday, to 5 a.m. Monday.
Trains to Brooklyn skip Rockaway Boulevard through Fall 2015. To get to Rockaway Boulevard, take the Brooklyn-bound A to 88th Street and transfer to a Far Rockaway or Lefferts Boulevard-bound A.
For service from this station, take a Far Rockaway-bound A to Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue or a Lefferts Boulevard-bound A to 104th Street and transfer to a Brooklyn-bound A.
Trains run express in both directions between 145th Street and Canal Street from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
Trains are suspended in both directions between 59th Street-Columbus Circle and DeKalb Avenue from 11:30 p.m. Friday, to 5 a.m. Monday.
You can take the F, N, Q, R trains and free shuttle buses instead. Free shuttle buses run between West 4th Street-Washington Square and Grand Street, stopping at Broadway-Lafayette Street. For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, take the F, N, Q or R trains instead.
Trains headed to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue run express from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to 36 Street. This will be the case starting at 11:45 p.m. on Friday, through Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m. and again on Sunday from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday.
Trains to Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer run express from Roosevelt Avenue to Forest Hills-71st Avenue. This is from 12:15 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, and from 12:15 a.m. to 5 a.m. Monday.
Trains headed to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue are rerouted via the M line from Roosevelt Avenue to 47-50 Streets-Rockefeller Center. And that’s going to last the whole weekend, from 9:45 p.m. on Friday, to 5 a.m. on Monday.
Starting a bit later but also lasting the whole weekend, from 11:45 p.m. Friday, to 5 a.m. Monday, the Jamaica-179th Street bound F trains run express from Avenue X to Smith-9th Streets.
Trains are not running in either direction between Hewes Street and Broad Street, from 5:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Take the free shuttle buses instead. Free shuttle buses run between Hewes Street and Essex Street, stopping at Marcy Avenue. Transfer between trains and free shuttle buses at Hewes Street and/or Essex Street. For service between Brooklyn and Manhattan, use the A, C or L via transfer at Broadway Junction.
Trains are suspended in both directions between Myrtle Avenue and Essex Street from 5:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Take the JL and/or free shuttle buses instead.
M service operates between Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle Avenue. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service between Hewes Street and Essex Street, stopping at Marcy Avenue. Transfer between J trains and free shuttle buses at Hewes Street. For direct service to/from Manhattan, use the L via transfer at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues.
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard bound N trains are rerouted via the D line from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street in Brooklyn.
Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue bound N trains run express from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to 59th Street from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday, to 5 a.m. Monday.
Trains to Forest Hills-71st Avenue run express from Roosevelt Avenue to Forest Hills-71st Avenue from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
During that time also, Bay Ridge-95th Street bound R trains run express from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to 59th Street.
The Bay Ridge-95th Street bound R trains skip 45th Street and 53rd Street from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
6th Street-bound R trains stop at 53rd Street and 45th Street.
