NEW SPRINGVILLE — A Target employee allegedly swiped cash from the register 18 times in two months, prosecutors said.

Jimmy Walls, 31, stole cash from the register of the Target, at 2873 Richmond Ave., between May 10 and June 16, prosecutors said.

Walls took between $50 to $100 each time and was caught on surveillance video, prosecutors said.

He was charged with grand larceny and petit larceny, according to the Staten Island District Attorney's office.

His bail was set at $1,000 and he's due back in court on July 16, according to online court records.

Walls' lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment.
