HARLEM — Two siblings attacked police offices after one of them was arrested for drinking in public Friday night.

The tense exchange, which was caught on video, happened near the corner of 144th Street and Eighth Avenue about 11:30 p.m. when Asia Banks, 38, was seen drinking on the street, according to the NYPD.

The video shows Banks’ brother, Mitchell Terrell, 26, join the fight and sucker punch an officer while police were trying to arrest Banks. Soon after her little brother throws punches, Banks reaches for the gun of one of the officers.

The siblings live steps away from where the assault happened. The video was first reported in the New York Post.

"That's my sister," Mitchell yelled before punching an officer in the back of the head multiple times.

Terrell and Banks were both charged with assaulting a police officer and disorderly conduct. Banks was also charged with resisting arrest, records show.

Both are being held in Rikers Island and due in court Thursday.

Banks' lawyer did not immediately reply to questions about the arrest.
