CONCOURSE — A teen had her wallet snatched as she descended the steps of the 167th Street subway station, the NYPD said.

The 18-year-old victim was heading down the stairs of the B/D subway stop when the suspect swiped her wallet, carrying credits cards and $40, police said.

Police described the suspect as a 45-year-old man, and a surveillance video shows him walking outside the station before the theft in a gray T-shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about this grand larceny is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS, or submit tips by logging onto www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577.
