CLIFTON — A man shot at three NYPD officers who responded to a fight on Staten Island early Thursday morning, police said.

The plain clothes officers, assigned to the 120 Precinct's Anti-Crime Team, responded to a 911 report of a fight between two groups of men at 140 Park Hill Ave. shortly after midnight, police said.

When the officers identified themselves, the groups fled in different directions. The officers chased after one of the men, who turned toward the officers and fired one shot, police said.

All three officers fired their guns at the suspect, who fled inside 145 Park Hill Ave., police said.

The officers were not injured, police said.

Police have not made any arrest for the incident and said an investigation is ongoing.
