EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A man was robbed at gunpoint while walking on McKibbin Street near Bogart Street in East Williamsburg last week, police said.

The victim, 26, was walking near the intersection — well-known enough that it has an $81 Bushwick candle named after it — on Monday, June 8 around 11 p.m. when a man approached him and blocked his path, police said.

A second man then came up behind the victim and put a silver gun to his head, saying " “Make this easy. Don’t make this hot, give your stuff,” according to police.

A third man then took more than $700 worth of property from the victim’s pockets, including an Apple iPhone 6, a wallet and a hat. The trio fled on McKibbin Street toward Bushwick Avenue.

One man was described as 18 years old, 5-foot-9 and was last seen wearing black jeans and black outerwear.

The man with the gun was about 25 years old, 6 feet tall and wore black outerwear and a black do-rag.
