UPPER WEST SIDE — A student had her laptop stolen from a room inside Fordham College's main building last week after leaving it unattended for an hour, police said.

The 20-year-old victim had the $1,200 Apple MacBook Pro laptop swiped after she left it in a changing room from 5 to 6 p.m. on June 12, police said.

The changing room is located next to Pope Auditorium on the Fordham College campus at 113 W. 60th St., police said.

The student notified Fordham's Public Safety department and Public Safety officers searched the area, said Bob Howe, senior director of communications for the college.

"We do restrict access to the campus and its buildings, and there hasn't been any recent pattern of laptop thefts," he added.
