COLUMBUS CIRCLE — Two shoplifters stole 14 pairs of jeans from a local American Apparel, police said.
A 17-year-old girl and a 21-year-old man stole $1,092 worth of jeans from the American Apparel on Broadway at West 60th Street on June 11 at noon, police said.
The pair walked into the store together and put the jeans into a bag then fled without paying, police said.
A manager at the branch declined to comment on the incident.
The American Apparel on Broadway at West 73rd Street has also been a target in the past. A thief stole 31 pairs of pants from there in 2014.
