MANHATTAN — A man was run over by a Brooklyn-bound J train in the Chambers Street subway station Monday afternoon, officials said.
The man, whose name and age were not immediately released, was hit about 2 p.m. in the station near Centre Street which serves the J and Z lines, an FDNY spokeswoman said.
He was treated at Bellevue Hospital for injuries that weren't considered life-threatening, FDNY officials said.
The J train was suspended between Marcy Avenue and Broad Street, according to the MTA.
An NYPD spokeswoman said she did not immediately have further information.
