Service Changes Planned for 9 Subway Lines This Weekend

 Lines 3,4,6,A,C,D,E,F and Q will be affected by service changes from Friday night until Monday morning.

NEW YORK — As you make plans for another warm and sunny weekend, keep in mind that 9 lines will be affected by service changes starting Friday night. 

Here's a breakdown of the service changes: 

3 train: 
At all times until late September, 3 trains will skip Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue in both directions. You can use shuttle buses instead and all transfers are free with a MetroCard. 

For service to and from Rockaway Avenue, use shuttle buses to and from the Saratoga Avenue station. B60 straphangers can transfer to and from shuttle buses at Rockaway Avenue.

For Service to and from Van Siclen Avenue, use shuttle buses to and from the Pennsylvania Avenue station.

4 train
Until late September, 4 trains will skip Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue in both directions and Brooklyn-bound 4 trains will skip 103rd Street.

6 train
Until September, Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall-bound 6 trains will skip 103rd Street.

From noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, the 116th Street station will serve as an exit station only. Straphangers can use the 110th Street or 125th Street stations instead to catch a 6 train. 

From 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, the 77th Street station will serve as an exit station only. Use the 68th Street or 86th Street stations instead. 

A train
At all times until next fall, Brooklyn-bound A trains will skip Rockaway Boulevard. 

For service to this station, take a Brooklyn-bound A train to 88th Street and transfer to a Far Rockaway or Lefferts Boulevard-bound A train.

For service from this station, take a Far Rockaway-bound A train to Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue or a Lefferts Boulevard A train to 104th Street and transfer to a Brooklyn-bound A train.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday until 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Inwood-207th Street-bound A trains will run express from 59th Street-Columbus Circle to 125th Street.

From 12:01 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Queens-bound A trains will run local from 168th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle.

C train
From 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, 168th Street-bound C trains will run express from 59th Street-Columbus Circle to 125th Street.

D train
From 5:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue- bound D trains will be rerouted via the N line from 36th Street to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.

To get to 9th Avenue, Fort Hamilton Parkway, 50th Street, 55th Street, 71st Street, 79th Street, 18th Avenue, 20th Avenue, Bay Parkway, 25th Avenue and Bay 50th Street, take a Coney Island-bound D train to 62nd Street-New Utrecht Avenue or Stillwell Avenue and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D train.

From these stations, take a Manhattan-bound D to 62nd Street-New Utrecht Avenue or 36th Street and transfer to a Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue bound D or N train.

Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue bound D trains will run local from 145th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle from 12:01 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

E train
Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer-bound E trains will run local from Queens Plaza to Forest Hills-71st Avenue from 12:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

From 12:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, E trains will run local between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue.

F train
From 12:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jamaica-179th Street bound F trains will run local between 21st Street-Queensbridge to Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue-bound F trains will run local from Forest Hills-71st Avenue to Roosevelt Avenue.

Q train
From 11:15 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue-bound Q trains will run express from Prospect Park to Kings Highway.
