BROOKLYN — A man tried to lure a 12-year-old girl, who was walking home, into his vehicle in Bedford-Stuyvesant Friday afternoon, police said.
The man, who can be seen in a sketch released by police, drove his vehicle — which was either an SUV or a minivan — up to the girl at the corner of Saratoga Avenue and Marion Street about 3:30 p.m. Friday, NYPD officials said.
He honked, rolled down his window, opened his passenger's side door and beckoned the child to get in, police said.
She kept walking and the man drove away west on Marion Street, police said.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
