SOUTH WILLIAMSBURG — Three roommates had more than $6,000 worth of property — including MacBooks, jewelry and digital cameras — taken from their South Williamsburg apartment while they were away at work, police said.

The roommates — a 27-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman — left for work around 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29 from an apartment on Havemeyer Street near Hope Street.

Upon returning roughly 6:30 p.m., one roommate saw that someone had gotten into his room through a window, which was not shattered but did have the screen pushed up, police said.

The roommates realized that more than $6,000 worth of property was gone from the apartment, including several MacBooks, Dr. Dre Beats headphones, a cigar box, jewelry, watches and two digital cameras, police said.

Other items taken include a DSW handbag, a white iPhone 5 with 32GB of memory and a laptop charger.

No one has been arrested for the incident.
