LOWER EAST SIDE — A bicyclist snatched $500 worth of jewelry from a teenager walking on East Broadway over the weekend, police said.
The 16-year-old girl was walking eastbound on the street on Sunday at 3 p.m. when the bicyclist — described as a bald, 30-year-old man with brown eyes — approached her and pulled the metal chain and pendant from her neck, police said.
The teenager told police she saw the thief ride westbound on East Broadway and turn right onto Pike Street, according to the NYPD.
