LOWER MANHATTAN — More than 30 Downtown eateries are offering up a healthy discount on their tasty fare, every Tuesday through Sept. 1.

The Downtown Alliance, a Lower Manhattan business improvement district, is sponsoring the discount program, which gives customers 20 percent off their bill at participating restaurants — and a chance to win a four-day trip to Amsterdam, Lower Manhattan’s original namesake.

The campaign, called #GetLow, is meant to highlight the growing and thriving dining scene in neighborhoods like the Financial District and the South Street Seaport.

All of the vendors at the Seaport Smorgasburg, which includes Ramen Burger, and Red Hook Lobster Pound, will offer the Tuesday discount, alongside a variety of other eateries along FiDi's Stone Street and the Seaport's Front Street, and other local restaurants.

"It’s no longer business as usual in what was once Manhattan’s Financial District," the Alliance said in a statement. "Today, Lower Manhattan is diverse, dynamic and thriving. And on Tuesdays this summer, Lower Manhattan is the place to be. "

To get the discount, head to getlow.com and enter your email address. You'll get a code that can be shown to participating restaurants.

And, if you tweet, Facebook or otherwise share your the #GetLow experience and hashtag on a variety of social media you can be entered to win a free trip to Amsterdam. For more information about the trip, check out the GetLow website.
