TOMPKINSVILLE — A man was fatally shot in the head on a Staten Island street Friday night, police said.
Police responded to a call of an assault at 70 Corson Ave. at 9:48 p.m. and found Paul Johnson, 40, lying unconscious on Fremont Street, between Corson Avenue and Brook Street, with a gunshot wound to his head.
Johnson, who lived nearby, was transported to Richmond University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
