FORT GREENE — A falafel spot with vegan offerings debuted earlier this month near BAM Park on Fulton Street.

The menu at Falafel Brothers, located at 711 Fulton St., lists five styles of falafel, including its original "Earthy" flavor, "Green" made with parsley and cilantro, "Harissa" made with Tunisian spices, "Black Olive" and "Lemon."

Vegan options include a slew of salads like quinoa, Moroccan carrots, white cabbage, and fried eggplant with tahini, along with fresh juices and shakes.

There is no meat or dairy on the menu, owners Rami Avadi and Aviv Nagrani told Fort Greene Focus.

The two are aiming to serve fresh, healthy fare in a friendly environment.

"We believe in being different, from the kitchen to the cashier to the one of a kind shop that makes you feel like your part of the family," they wrote on the Falafel Brothers website. "We won’t hold on to oil like everyone else for days, or reuse yesterdays salads. It will always be as you want, made every morning, delicious, clean and healthy."

Falafel Brothers is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to midnight.
