FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A woman had her phone grabbed out of her hands as she played a game on her cell phone while riding the 3 train last week, police said.

The 32-year-old Manhattan woman told police that as she was tapping away on her Samsung Galaxy S4 on May 22, a man ripped the phone from her hands at about 6:30 p.m. — right when the doors of the uptown train opened at the Fulton Street station.

He ran out, and she tried to chase him, but lost the thief in the crowd, according to police reports.

Police were still investigating the incident as of Tuesday.
