QUEENS — A woman was found dead in a Rego Park apartment early Monday morning, authorities said.
The 40-year-old woman was found unconscious and unresponsive inside an apartment on 63rd Drive, near Carlton Street, at 4:53 a.m., officials said.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not a resident of the apartment she was found in, according to NYPD.
Foul play is suspected, police sources said.
An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday morning, police said.
