OAKWOOD — The body of a 20-year-old man was found on a beach in Oakwood Saturday morning, police said.
The man was discovered in the water at Fox Beach, near Kissam Avenue and Mill Road, at roughly 6:30 a.m. on Saturday. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Staten Island Advance reported the body was "badly" decomposed when it was found.
The Medical Examiner is determining the cause of death and the man's name was withheld by police.
