LONG ISLAND CITY — The Z Hotel in Queens Plaza welcomed two new eateries this spring, including an Italian joint and a lounge serving a more casual menu.

A new Italian restaurant specializing in seafood dishes and an adjoining lounge serving sushi opened in the Z Hotel at 11-01 43rd Ave. earlier this month.

Villa Enrico and the Z Lounge & Sushi Bar are located a level down from the hotel's lobby, and though connected to one another, will offer separate menus, a spokeswoman for the hotel said.

The first will offer Italian and seafood-heavy fare, including mussels and clams, branzino and red snapper, according to a statement.

The menu also includes pasta dishes as well as classics like chicken marsala and veal scallopini. Brunch will be served on weekends until 4 p.m., where diners will be able to order one entree and a cocktail for $13.95.

The eateries adjoining lounge space will serve more casual eats, like salads and paninis, as well as sushi and sashimi, the hotel said.

In addition, the Z Hotel's rooftop yoga classes are returning this summer, with sessions every other Monday starting in June. Cost per class is $35, which includes "skinny" cocktails and light snacks after the workout.
