QUEENS — Forest Hills restaurant Danny Brown Wine Bar and Kitchen, which until last year had been the only eatery in Queens to receive a star in the Michelin Guide, is planning another location in Long Island City, its owners said.

Owner Audrey Brown confirmed the expansion in an email, saying they're "really excited about the new project we have planned," but declined to provide more details on an exact location or whether the new restaurant would serve the same menu as the Forest Hills eatery.

Danny Brown serves an eclectic mix of Spanish and French cuisines, drawing diners from around the city with dishes like bacon-wrapped terrine of rabbit served with wine-poached prunes and Sicilian pistachios.

Other dishes include a roasted lamb tenderloin with spiced couscous, roasted carrots and sunchoke.

The Metropolitan Avenue restaurant was first awarded a Michelin star in 2011.

Last year three other Queens restaurants also received the honor: Zabb Elee, a Thai restaurant in Jackson Heights, as well as Long Island City's M. Wells Steakhouse and Mexican eatery Casa Enrique.
