EAST HARLEM — A man threatened to shoot a woman while she was getting cash out of a Chase Bank on 125th Street, police said.

The woman, whose age and name were not disclosed, was withdrawing money out of an ATM at roughly 7:20 a.m. on May 4 at the branch on 103 East 125th St., before the suspect approached her, according to the NYPD.

The man, who was standing next to her, waited until the money came out of the machine before going up to her, police said.

“Don’t make me do this now,” the man said. “I have a gun in my pocket give me $100. Somebody is waiting for me across the street. Don’t make me do this.”

The woman handed over the money, police said.

There are security cameras at the bank, but police need to file a subpoena to get them from the bank, according to the NYPD.

"I can confirm that the incident took place and that there were no injuries, but cannot comment beyond that," Chase spokesman Erich Timmerman said.

The suspect is in his mid-30s, is 5-foot-8, 190 pounds and wore khaki shorts and grey outerwear, police said.
