HARLEM — A man was shot twice in broad daylight on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard after getting into an argument with another man, according to the NYPD.
The fight started about 2:30 p.m. on May 8 outside of the Harlem Restoration Project, a nonprofit that offers social services to community members and former inmates, on 1980 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd., police said.
Police did not know what the verbal argument was about or if the men are connected to the nonprofit.
Surveillance video shows the suspect walking away from the dispute toward 119th Street, then turn toward the victim and opened fire.
The victim was shot twice in the leg and was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Harlem Restoration Project declined to comment on the incident.
