STAPLETON — A thief who swiped a cellphone from a woman dropped his wallet at the scene of the crime as he ran away, police said.
Jose Burgos, 46, left his cash and identity after grabbing the phone of a woman walking on a Stapleton street, police said.
The 32-year-old woman was walking near Wright and Broad streets on March 2 holding her cellphone about 9 a.m., police said.
Police said Burgos, who has not yet been caught, is 5-foot 4-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
