CHELSEA — Rock fans may have some beef with this.

British singer Morrissey has requested that Madison Square Garden ban meat sales during his June concert and wants the World’s Most Famous Arena to go vegan for the night, according to a letter he recently penned.

That means fish and dairy won’t be options either.

The former singer of The Smiths who wrote the song "Meat is Murder" recently wrote a blistering letter to Al Gore, asking the former vice president to offer a vegan-only menu at Live Earth 2015.

“Serving meat and dairy products at an event to combat climate change is like selling pistols at a gun-control rally,” Morrissey wrote, according to Rolling Stone.

“We already know that raising animals for food is a leading cause of climate change and that moving toward a vegan diet is necessary to combat climate change’s worst effects.”

He suggested that Madison Square Garden's management had already agreed to the meat ban.

"Not only is it possible for venues to provide a 100 percent meat-free menu — as is done now at every concert venue in which I perform, including Madison Square Garden, where I have a show at the end of June — it’s also a moral duty," he wrote.

The singer's performance is scheduled for June 27.

Garden officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
