LONG ISLAND CITY — A new rental building in Queens Plaza with $2,000-a-month studios and a rooftop pool will begin leasing soon.

The QLIC will open this summer at Queens Plaza North and 24th Street, a 21-story building with 421 apartments and a stock of amenities, including a rooftop pool with a landscaped deck, a fitness center and a private garden.

There will also be a bike room and indoor parking, according to developer World Wide Group.

The building will be a mix of studio to and three-bedroom apartments, where studios will start at $2,026 and one-bedrooms at $2,285. The two- and three-bedroom units have two bathrooms, and are priced at $3,595 and $4,592 a month, respectively.

Dave Maundrell of aptsandlofts.com, which is marketing the building, said they've received more than 1,500 inquiries about the property, which will start leasing in the next few weeks. Tenants will be able to move in starting in July.
