BATTERY PARK CITY — A body was pulled out of the Hudson River Monday, from Battery Park City's North Cove Marina, police said.

The NYPD's Harbor Unit pulled the decomposing body of a fully clothed 57-year-old man from the river just after 11:00 a.m., police said. The finding was first reported by BatteryPark.TV.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene, authorities said. He has not been identified yet, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

The marina, at 385 South End Avenue, is a popular dock for large yachts.

Last week, police pulled a body of a 23-year-old man from the river, just off of the coast of nearby Battery Park.
