STATEN ISLAND — A probationary NYPD officer just four months into his training was arrested Wednesday and charged with sending lewd messages and photos to a 13-year-old girl, police said.
Christopher Quinn, 26, was arrested about 6:10 p.m. at the 122nd Precinct stationhouse on charges of acting in a manner injurious to a child, NYPD officials said.
It wasn't immediately clear how Quinn met the girl, police said.
Quinn began at the NYPD academy in January, an NYPD spokesman said.
