QUEENS — Police are searching for two suspects who they said robbed a Jamaica grocery store at gunpoint in broad daylight last week — an incident that was caught on crystal-clear surveillance video.

The men entered the deli on Jamaica Avenue near 138th Street last Tuesday at 3 p.m., police said.

One of the men pulled out a gun and demanded money. Then both men went behind the counter, took out $548 from the cash register and fled, according to the NYPD.

A suspect is described as about 30-years-old, 5-foot-9 and weighing about 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

His accomplice was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket and a Yankees baseball cap, officials said.

Police also released surveillance video of the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
