CHELSEA — Three's a crowd.
One lucky audience member will be called upon to join a comedy threesome for “Menage A Trois Radio After Dark,” a live show Saturday at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater on West 26th Street.
Comedian couple Murf Meyer and Diana Kolsky will invite one spectator to join them onstage as a "third" for the duration of the lust-themed show.
"It's kind of 'Pee-wee's Playhouse' for adults," Kolsky said. The show has a "loose" vibe, she said, where people participate, drink and move about.
The "third" will be determined by a competition at the start of the show. "I would invite aspiring comedians and laymen alike to come join us," Kolsky said.
The monthly midnight show, which costs $5, bills itself as “a fun, ballsy, raucous variety show about your hearts and parts.” Segments include “Santa’s Lap” and “Panty Pictionary.” This month's show will also feature a live band, Kolsky said.
Meyer and Murf met in an improv class. The duo also hosts a podcast on the UCB network where they invite a “third” to discuss sex and relationships.
