MANHATTAN — A man went to a Harlem apartment building to sell his laptop to two men who had responded to his Craigslist ad, but the buyers pulled out a gun and stole his MacBook Pro, iPhone and $50, police said.

The 25-year-old man, wearing a knee-length coat and a messenger bag, entered 60 W. 142nd St., near Malcolm X Boulevard, about 6:30 p.m. Feb. 18 and was met by the prospective buyer and another man, NYPD officials said.

Surveillance footage shows the two suspects step into an elevator and the seller momentarily halting at the door before getting in as well.

They went up to the third floor where one of the suspects drew a gun and stole the seller's cash and electronics before fleeing, police said.

Both thieves are about 5 feet 10 inches, 190 pounds and in their mid-20s, police said. They wore black bubble jackets, black jeans, black beanie and black sneakers, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
