CHELSEA — A man threw his dog’s soiled diaper in a 58-year-old woman’s face on West 23rd Street and Eighth Avenue last week, police said.
The woman was out walking her dog at 10:10 p.m. on March 18 when the man, who she did not know, and threw his dog's dirty diaper in her face, according authorities.
No arrests were made in the incident, which was classified as harassment and caused the victim “annoyance and alarm,” NYPD said.
Other recent crimes in the 10th Precinct include:
►A woman pulled another woman's hair after she complained a that the attacker took her cab, police said.
The 38-year-old victim was hailing a cab on the corner of West 16th Street and 10th Avenue at 7:45 a.m. on Monday, March 16, according to NYPD.
Another woman attempted to get in the taxi, and when the victim told the other woman to stop, she pulled her hair before escaping in a taxi, police said.
The victim was not injured in the incident, NYPD said.
►A gray 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen after a man parked the vehicle with the keys in the ignition, according to authorities.
The man entered 202 Eighth Ave. to have a conversation at 6:15 p.m. on March 21. When he returned, the vehicle was gone.
