The four teens, caught on surveillance footage at the 14th Street and Sixth Avenue station, and believed to be between the ages of 16 and 21 years old, are suspected of snatching phones from the hands of straphangers on at least four occasions, police said.
The incidents have all occurred in the evening on weekdays, police said.
Two more Samsung Galaxys were stolen on March 2 about 10:15 p.m. and March 3 about 5:20 p.m., police said, from a 38-year-old woman and a 33-year-old woman respectively.
The NYPD urges anyone with information about the smartphone snatchings or the suspects call their Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
