MARINERS HARBOR — A man stole two TVs from a neighbor but left a trail of cigarettes and cups that led police to him, prosecutors said.

Fuday Robinson, 22, allegedly smashed the patio window and front door lock of an Arlington Terrace Apartments building on Holland Avenue in Staten Island, between June 27 and July 4, 2014, according to court papers.

When inside, Robinson took two TVs, a Gucci bag and two debit cards, according to prosecutors.

But he left "cigarette butts and numerous cups" inside that police later linked to his DNA, according to court papers.

Robinson, who lived in the same complex, was arrested Tuesday, according to court papers.

The arrest was first reported by the Staten Island Advance.

He was charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny at his arraignment, Staten Island's district attorney said.

Robinson's bail was set at $10,000 and he's due back in court on March 19, according to online court records.

His lawyer, Susan Platis, declined comment.
