BROOKLYN — An 18-year-old woman was wounded in a shooting at a Coney Island apartment building Tuesday morning, according to officials.
The young woman, whose identity was not released, was struck on the 4th Floor of 2920 W. 21st St. at about 9:45 a.m., an NYPD spokesman said.
She was taken to Lutheran Hospital and was expected to survive, the spokesman added.
Police are searching for the shooter, who they described as a man with dreadlocks who was wearing all black.
