MIDTOWN — Westminster Kennel Club's 2015 Best in Show, Miss P, was treated to a medium-rare steak at Sardi's in Times Square Wednesday, a day after her big win.

The prize-winning pooch, a 15-inch beagle from Canada, was only the second of its breed ever to win top honors at the annual show.

"It's been overwhelming. It hasn't really sunk in yet," said the 4-year-old dog's owner, Lori Crandlemire, 55.

Crandlemire was sitting with her daughter, Kaitlyn, in the crowd when they announced Miss P had won.

"We both kind of screamed," Lori said.

Miss P will now head back to their British Columbia home where she will retire as a show dog and become a mom, the owner added.

For the last several years, the regal rover has lived with her handler, Will Alexander, in Toronto.

Alexander described Miss P as very well behaved, but also a "princess."

"She's very demanding," Alexander said. "Things have to go her way."

Miss P seemed unfazed by the flashes of the cameras while she waited for her steak on the second floor of Sardi's on West 44th Street.

Sardi's owner Max Klimavicius brought out two round steaks on a silver platter while Alexander held back a suddenly excited Miss P.

The dog never barked while she waited for Klimavicius to hand each bite of meat to her.

After the press finished with their interviews and photos, Miss P's owners and handler finally got a chance to sit down for a meal at Sardi's themselves.
