NEW YORK CITY — It's so cold out that the water in New York Harbor is starting to freeze.
A time-lapse video that went live on Youtube Sunday shows huge chunks of ice floating across the water with the Statue of Liberty in the background.
Ferries and boats dart in and out of the frame, slicing through ice as they pass.
The Youtube user who posted the video could not be reached immediately, but comments on the video indicate it was shot on an iPhone.
The artic blast that dug into the city last Thursday has frozen over parts of Jamaica Bay and is expected keep temperatures below zero until Sunday.
