BOERUM HILL — A California-based chain of hair salons that specialize in $40 blowouts is opening its first Brooklyn location this summer, a company spokesman told DNAinfo New York.

Drybar is slated to open at 215 Pacific St. near Court Street in Boerum Hill this July, spokesman Curtis Kelly said.

The salon's "menu" of hairstyles is inspired by popular cocktails, such as "The Mai Tai" or "Dirty Martini" for a tousled style, "Southern Comfort" for a wavy look and $28 "The Shirley Temple" styles for kids under 10.

The "blow dry bar" offers only $40 blowouts and hair washes but, "No cuts. No color," according to the chain's website

Drybar also sells its own brand of hair products, shampoo and conditioner as well styling equipment like its signature $195 blow dryer, called "Buttercup."

There are currently eight locations in Manhattan, including the Upper West Side, TriBeCa and Murray Hill, as well as outposts across the country in California, Massachusetts, Texas, Georgia, Chicago and Washington, D.C.
