THE BRONX — A trio of thieves pushed their way into a 64-year-old man's Concourse apartment where they pistol-whipped him and ran off with $600 and his cell phone Monday, police said.

One of the robbers, a man in a black mask with a matching hoodie and armed with a gun, knocked on the door of the man's Walton Avenue apartment about 10:45 p.m., prompting him to open up, according to the NYPD.

The suspect then pushed the tenant inside as the two others followed and started rooting through the apartment, police said.

Once inside, the first thief then clobbered the tenant on the head with his gun, giving the 64-year-old a cut, police said.

The trio snatched the victim's cellphone and stole $600 before fleeing the apartment, police said.

The victim was treated for minor injuries at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, police said.

Surveillance footage released by the NYPD shows the trio of thieves, all wearing jackets and hoods, walking through the lobby of the building and up a flight of stairs.

One man wore a green hoodie and a black jacket with an intricate design on the back.

Another wore a black jacket over gray pants and a matching hoodie.

The third man had dark jacket with dark pants and a blue hoodie over a red cap.
